It’s very fair to say that I am OBSESSED with the Empyrean series.
It was the first romantasy series that truly pulled me back into reading, and from the very first page I was completely hooked. The world, the dragons, the characters, the heartbreak, the triumphs—there’s just something about this story that has stayed with me ever since.
Tairn and Andarna have a very special place in my heart. In fact, I loved them so much that I had to get a tattoo of them, so they quite literally have a permanent place on my arm.
It’s safe to say I’m completely in love with this story and, because of that, I won’t settle for anything less than perfection when it comes to special editions. I’ve collected a few beautiful versions of these books over the years, and every one of them is stunning in its own way.
But these Fabled Press editions? They are on an entirely different level.
The craftsmanship is beyond anything I’ve seen before. From the hand-bound faux leather covers to the breathtaking sprayed edges, every detail has been carefully considered. The exclusive artwork by Anna Stone is absolutely incredible…these are exactly how I imagined the characters in my head, and somehow even better.
The custom endpapers, the luxurious feel of the books, the sheer attention to detail throughout, everything about these editions feels special. They don’t just tell the story; they celebrate it.
To me, these books represent the Empyrean series exactly as it deserves to be represented: bold, beautiful, unforgettable, and crafted with so much care. They are genuine masterpieces.
Now sitting proudly alongside my Fourth Wing edition, they’ve become the crown jewels of my collection and without a doubt my most treasured possessions. They’re the books I immediately reach for when someone visits and wants to see my shelves.
I honestly couldn’t be happier with this edition. Thank you, Fabled Press, for bringing a story that means so much to me to life in such a beautiful and breathtaking way. Every time I look at these books, I fall in love with the Empyrean series all over again
